Research Director

  • NSF EASE-IN Program (CELL-MET): Program coordinator and lead mentor for the 2024–25 cohort of first-year engineering students. I oversaw the selection and placement of each participant into one of seven research laboratories, coordinated with graduate-student mentors, and ran bi-weekly meetings that guided students in starting their research journey, setting concrete research goals, and navigating campus resources. (2024-2025)

Instructor

  • ENG EK301 - Engineering Mechanics I: Fundamental statics of particles, rigid bodies, trusses, frames, and virtual work. Distributed forces, uni-axial stress and strain, shear and bending moment diagrams. Application of vector analysis and introduction to engineering design. Includes design project. (Spring 2020, 2021)

Graduate Teaching Fellow

  • ENG ME303 - Fluid Mechanics: Properties of fluids. Fluid statics. Flow kinematics and dynamics. Dimensional analysis. Control volume approach to conservation of mass, momentum, and energy. Analysis of fluid flow along streamline using the Bernoulli equation. Pipe flow analysis techniques. Discussion of boundary layers, and methods for estimating drag, and lift forces. Course consists of a mixture of lectures and labs. (Summer 2018, Fall, Spring 2016)
